In Psalm 145 King David writes,
“I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.” (Psalm 145:1-4)Do you have children? When was the last time you talked with them about the majesty and glory of God? Do you take time to watch a sunset with them and marvel at the awesome wonder of His love and faithfulness? How about the grandchildren? Have you taken a moment to explore the intricate world of insects with them and explain how our God, the Creator of this vast universe, designed each tiny insect with as much care as He used to put the enormous planets into place?
I know some dear women who work in a daycare tending to the brand new babies. They sing “Jesus loves me” to these tiny infants as they rock them to sleep. They pray over these children as they nap. If you don’t have a child of your own – borrow one. A single parent could use a break. No child is too young or too old to share the love of Jesus with. And just as the potter molds the clay, we are often the hands that God uses to mold the next generation.
May the Lord bless you.
